Jeff Badu, originally from Ghana, was a member of a Chicago gang. On a trip back home to Ghana, his auntie spoke words of truth to him about how hard his parents struggled to move to the US and how he was messing it up. He took her words to heart and decided to make a change. When he was 25, he became a millionaire after working hard to improve his grades, and being involved in his community and church. Unfortunately, his best friend never made it out of the gang life and was shot in the head helping someone. Here's what he's doing now:
Badu has made it his mission to help others who are struggling.
He provides scholarship money and education for those that need help “to find their own financial freedom.”
