Most people admire others who are confident and courageous enough to take risks. But boldness should never be confused with impulsiveness. Being impulsive is generally an emotional response so the results may not always be what you intended. So how do we stop being indecisive and be more bold? Here are a few tips:

Start listening to your gut. Gut feelings tell us what we want and are to be heard and not ignored.


Be more rational and set priorities. Write down your options and prioritize them.


Make a plan, and then follow through with it. You can take it slow, but at least take those first steps.

Don’t forget that you can always change your mind, re-evaluate your options and make new ones as you go along.
